Welcome to the flavorful world of China Panda, a delightful gem located at 276 Holdbrook Court, Waltham Cross, EN8 7SL. At China Panda, diners are transported straight to the streets of Asia, where traditional recipes blend with a modern twist to deliver a dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds.

At the heart of China Panda's menu are its exquisite appetisers. A must-try includes the Mixed Vegetable Spring Rolls, fried to crispy perfection and accompanied by a rich dipping sauce. For those who crave something heartier, the Deep Fried Chicken in Salt & Pepper and Squid in Salt & Pepper offer a savory explosion of flavors that will keep you coming back for more.

The dim sum selection is an adventurous highlight — the Dim Sum Platter presents an assortment of delicacies, featuring everything from soft chicken buns to succulent siu mai. It’s perfect for sharing or simply indulging all by yourself. Pair these with one of their tantalizing soups, like the aromatic Thai King Prawn Tom Yum Soup, bursting with zesty flavors that provide a warm embrace on a chilly day.

  • Chow Mein: The House Special Fried Noodles, with their comforting blend of fresh ingredients, are a satisfying choice.
  • Chicken Dishes: The Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken balances sweet and savory, making it a favorite among diners.
  • Seafood Dishes: For seafood lovers, the Crispy Honey Garlic King Prawn adds a touch of elegance to the menu.

China Panda also caters to various dietary preferences with a commendable selection of vegetarian options, ensuring everyone can find something to love. The offerings such as Stir Tofu in Black Bean Sauce are simple yet wonderfully satisfying.

It's important to note that dining experiences can vary. Some customers, like Jayne T, praised the generous portions and friendly delivery service. However, not every review shines with the same light, as noted by Laura M, who had an unfortunate experience with an underwhelming chow mein.

Overall, while there are some inconsistencies, China Panda stands out for its commitment to bringing the tastes of China to Waltham Cross, and for many, it remains a reliable option for takeaway or a casual dining outing.

If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by China Panda to explore its tempting menu and discover your personal favorites!

After checking these reviews post ordering I was sceptical to receive my order however, we couldn’t complain. They was minutes over the estimated order time which can be forgiven. The portions were very generous and even included prawn crackers and fortune cookies despite our order only being small and for two. Delivery staff also friendly. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Ordered over the phone, very helpful with placing the order and answering questions i had with some of what consisted in each meal.Food was delivered withing the time frame and hot and was very delicious.Price for what we ordered including delivery was very fair and also they had a card machine when they delivered so I can pay for the delivery via card.Would definitely recommend and order from again :).

The food was awful! The chow mein I received was completely unacceptable. The dish was poorly prepared, with nearly raw vegetables, bland and dry noodles, and an utter lack of seasoning or sauce. The broccoli and onions tasted undercooked and hard, while the noodles were dry and flavorless. This was nowhere near the standard of a proper chow mein—it tasted like unseasoned boiled vegetables mixed with plain noodles. To make matters worse, the portion was thrown together with no care or attention to cooking. It was barely edible, and I couldn’t finish it because of how bad it tasted. This meal did not reflect what was advertised on the menu, and given the quality was awful!

I don’t ever leave reviews on places but feel like I should here to save people their money and time! I don’t want to come across patronising or mean either. We used to order from here whenever we wanted a Chinese takeaway and never had an issue. Only the last times we have ordered from here has been horrible. The first time was just after Christmas we did quite a big order and spent almost £. The delivery took over hours and when it finally arrived we had food missing. When we rang back up to ask where our food was they said it will be sorted and with us within half an hour. An hour went by and when we rang up again they said we weren’t ‘priority’. So we ended up having to drive there ourselves to receive the rest of our order. The second time when we ordered just tonight we ordered at :pm. The food didn’t get to us until :pm. During this time we rang to ask where our order was. I was put on hold so they could check where the driver was, I was put on hold for over mins and then it cut out on us. Finally they said minutes away and it took another half an hour. When it finally got delivered our food was stone cold, soggy just overall disgusting. They don’t seem to really care much. Save your money people x
